Airlaid napkins are the closest a disposable napkin gets to woven linen. Cellulose fibres are bonded with air rather than water, producing a thick, textile-like sheet that drapes across the lap, holds a crisp fold and stays strong when wet, without lint on dark clothing.
For restaurants, hotels, caterers and wedding planners, linen-like napkins remove the cost, logistics and hygiene questions of rented linen while keeping a genuine fine-dining presentation. Our pocket-fold styles arrive pre-folded with a cutlery slot, so staff can set a polished table in seconds.
They are made from airlaid paper: natural cellulose (wood pulp) fibres bonded into a soft, cloth-like sheet. They are single-use and disposable, but feel far closer to fabric than to tissue.
They are more hygienic and considerably cheaper to operate: there is no laundering, no rental contract, no stains and no shortages. Many caterers and restaurants now use airlaid as their standard for premium service.
A pocket-fold napkin is pre-folded with a diagonal pocket that holds a knife, fork and spoon. It speeds up table setting and is popular for banquets, buffets, weddings and outdoor dining.
